The fuse mounting studs are M8 with 63 mm spacing between centers. While the shunt is specifically designed for CNN fuses, other fuse types that fit these dimensions may also be compatible. \u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eFor larger or more complex systems, an \u003cstrong\u003eadditional busbar piece\u003c\/strong\u003e is supplied. This optional piece allows you to replace the internal fuse with an external one, giving you the flexibility to mount the main fuse in a different location. The GX device will show all measured parameters, operational state, battery SoC (state of charge) and alarms. Two RJ45 VE.Can terminators are supplied with the \u003cstrong\u003eLynx Shunt\u003c\/strong\u003e to be used when connecting to a GX device. An \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.photonicuniverse.com\/en\/catalog\/full\/740-Victron-RJ45-UTP-Cable-3m-for-VEBus-and-VECan-connections.html\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan class=\"blue\"\u003eRJ45 cable\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e (not included) is required to connect the \u003cstrong\u003eLynx Shunt\u003c\/strong\u003e to the GX device.  Once connected to the GX device, you can navigate to the Lynx Shunt settings menu on the GX device to view\/set\/change settings and parameters.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eThe \u003cstrong\u003eLynx Shunt\u003c\/strong\u003e has an alarm relay which can be programmed via the GX device to open or close using parameters such as battery State of charge, battery voltage, battery temperature and blown fuse. For example, the alarm relay can be used to start or stop a generator based on battery state of charge or battery voltage.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eA temperature sensor (not included) is an optional item which can be connected to the \u003cstrong\u003eLynx Shunt\u003c\/strong\u003e to measure the battery temperature and drive the alarm relay.
